Emergency fundraising
Well after dealing with a neighbor who had frequent spats with her husband and bringing in a flea problem, one of our indoor cats, Shady, is really really sick and we have no money to take him to a vet. Please help in anyway you can, he is out of the three my cat… I don’t want to lose him.
I’m willing to do commissions or do gift artwork for people who donate.

This is my roommate’s game dev blog. This cat is a giant ball of fluff and love normally. Lately, he’s been hiding in the bathroom to attempt to escape the fleas. He’s losing his hair, has lost a lot of weight (a good four pounds or more, I can feel his ribs and hips easily), and just a day without cleaning out the tub (that he spends most of the day and night in) makes it nearly covered in fur and the dots of dried blood from the bites he’s scratched.
We can’t afford to take him to the vet to get him help, can’t afford any treatments that would help him, and with how much he’s suffered the last few months, we’re not sure how long he’s going to live.
We’re all very worried about our cat. The other two cats don’t seem to have been hit as hard with the fleas as Shady has. We’ve tried giving them garlic tablets and all other manner of home remedies we’ve found on the internet. None of them have worked in getting rid of our flea problems, nor in aiding Shady in getting relief.
A small update…
Shady’s stopped eating unless we literally spoon feed him baby food, and even then only a few bites. He refuses to eat otherwise. He’s getting thinner and has stopped leaving the bathroom short of going to use the litterbox, which he’s only been peeing in.
We appreciate the reblogs, and if anybody could spare a few dollars, we would appreciate it so very much. We need to get him to the vet to have him checked out badly. I’m not even sure it’s because of the fleas anymore. We’ve had food, water and a clean towel in the bathroom for him since he started hanging out in it, but it doesn’t seem to be doing enough for him now.
